Home Buyer Assistance

The ACT Government offers a range of other assistance to prospective home buyers in the ACT.

From 1 July 2019, the ACT Government is expanding first home buyer assistance in the ACT by removing stamp duty for many first home buyers in the ACT, to help more people buy the first home that’s right for them. Find out more about the Home buyer concession scheme.

The new scheme will replace the First home owner grant program, which will end on 30 June.
