Developers required to make National Capital Design Review Panel advice public

16 June 2020

Developers whose projects are required to be reviewed by the National Capital Design Review Panel must now submit the advice they received, and their written response to the advice, with their development applications.

Previously, only their response to the advice had to be submitted.

The change, which took effect on 11 June 2020, makes for more informed comment on development applications. It brings together the Panel’s views of the proposal and the developer’s written response for the public to consider during the public notification period for a development application.

For more information, email or ring 13 22 81 and ask for the National Capital Design Review Panel secretariat within the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate.
