Lessees under the Land Rent Scheme who had their applications to pay out their lease approved on or before 8 August 2019 should ensure the land rent payout amount is paid in full by 8 August 2020. If the amount is not paid by that date, a new application will be required, based on the current unimproved value value for the land.

The ACT Government has made changes to exemptions from development approval for electric vehicle charging points and development at schools. These changes are designed to support the use of electric vehicles in the ACT and ensure that schools can quickly respond to changing demand in enrolments.
