Our interactive Housing Map shows real examples of well-designed “Missing Middle” homes already built in the ACT. These include dual and triple occupancies, townhouses, terraces, duplexes, and low-rise apartments.
We plan to support 30,000 new homes in Canberra over the next five years. To help make this happen, we’re changing the planning rules so these types of homes can be built more easily in existing residential areas (RZ1 and RZ2 zones).
