The Demonstration Housing 'without a site' stream is for proponents who do not own a site but have a demonstration housing concept they want to deliver. Territory-owned land for each proposal successful in the Stage 1 Expression of Interest (EOI), has been identified with consideration to:
- Type of housing proposed
- Size and scale of proposal
- Suitability of location for the proposal
- Locations suggested by the proponent
- Cost
A restricted class land sale tender for the Stage 2 Demonstration Housing Request for Tender (RFT) is required for each proponent. If found successful in the RFT process, the land will be sold to proponents at market value.
