Water tanks

Must comply with Schedule 1 of the General Regulation.

Water tanks don't need building approval if:

the capacity isn't more than 20kL
it isn't more than 2.4m above ground and
it follows all other general rules.

Note: if the water tank is underground, please seek advice from the building certifier for the construction requirements for a BA.
