The Apartment Design Guide applies to residential and mixed-use development that provide more than one residential dwelling and is not for missing middle housing. The Apartment Design Guide does not apply to single dwelling housing, secondary residence and extensions and alterations to multi-unit housing (of no more than 50% increase in floor area).
