Personal liability provisions

Part 5 of the Property Developers Act 2024 includes a provision allowing the construction occupations registrar to issue rectification orders directly to former company directors in certain circumstances:

The person must have been a director of a property developer as defined in section 46 of the Act.
The property developer the person was a director of must have been a corporation.
The property developer the person was a director of must have been wound up, placed into administration, receivership or liquidation, or deregistered.
